Brown Bear (ヒグマ Higuma?) is a brown bear who owns the Brown Bear's Cafe.
Appearance[]
Brown Bear is shown wearing a black bowtie, a dark brown vest and small circular glasses.
Personality[]
We are only shown Brown Bear for a brief moment, but he seems to be an older fellow based off of his voice. He doesn't bat an eye when he sees Polar Bear dressed as a panda.
His cafe has more of a natural look with plants and shelving, very similar to a gardening shed. He also has many bookshelves filled with different novels that his patrons can (assumedly) borrow during their time there.

Relationships[]
Penguin[]
Penguin starts going to Brown Bear's Cafe in episode 34 which causes some confusion back at Polar Bear Cafe. Polar Bear later finds that Penguin has fallen in love with one of the waitstaff there (after the failed relationship with Penko) which is why he goes to Brown Bear's Cafe. He eventually gets rejected by the waitress and comes back to Polar Bear's Cafe.

Polar Bear[]
As a cafe rival, Polar Bear dresses up like a panda in order to see why Penguin stopped going to his cafe. He tries to see if the cafe mocha is the reason why and orders one, but after trying it he realizes there is too much chocolate syrup so it can't be the main reason. Penguin eventually shows up and Polar Bear finds out that it is due to one of the waitresses. They say that they will remain friends regardless if he's a customer or not, and Penguin promises to come back to Polar Bear Cafe once he asks the waitress out.
